NATO begins shipment of Patriot Missiles to Turkey

By LUIS MIRANDA | THE REAL AGENDA | JANUARY 7, 2012

A first group of U.S. soldiers has arrived in Turkey on Friday to work on the deployment of Patriot missile defense system that Turkey had asked NATO for to defend against a supposed imminent Syrian missile attack, said the U.S. European Command (EUCOM) .

The Patriot surface to air missiles are long range defense system used to intercept ballistic missiles as they can reach targets at high altitudes. The 27 U.S. soldiers landed in the city of Gaziantep, in southern part of Turkey, about 50 kilometers from the border with Syria. The soldiers began working to install the missile system, said the state news agency Anadolu.

“These forces will increase Turkish air defense capability and help curb the escalating crisis along the border of the Alliance,” EUCOM said in its statement, referring to the tense situation prevailing in the border between Turkey and Syria. “The deployment is only defensive and will not support a no-fly zone or any offensive operation,” said EUCOM.

Turkey requested help from NATO after several incidents in which missiles and bullets from the Syrian side killed and injured several people in Turkish territory. In addition, the Damascus government has fired ballistic missiles, known as Scud, to targets near the border with Turkey, where Turkish-backed terrorist groups operate with the aid of western nations such as the United States and several European nations.

Syria has spent nearly two years mired in a civil war between rebels and the government, a conflict orchestrated by Western powers that seek to end the presidency of Bashar al-Assad. The civil war already  killed more than 60,000 people.

The worst incident occurred on the Turkish side on 5 October when five women died as a result of an explosion in the city of Akcakale, after an unidentified mortar shell fired from Syria landed near a populated area in Turkey. Since then, Turkey began blaming the Syrian government for any and all attacks.

The NATO ally in the region later deployed tanks along the border and responded with its own artillery repeatedly, but since such actions did not end in a massive build up against Assad, the Turkish president decided to ask NATO for a Patriot missile defense system which analysts see as the first step of the establishment of a no-fly zone over Syria, from where more terrorist attacks will be launched by western-backed rebel groups.

NATO accepted Turkey’s application in December so three member countries will contribute to this deployment. Those countries are the U.S., Germany and the Netherlands, with two batteries of missiles each, in addition to its own military personnel to operate them.

Both the German Army as well as the Dutch Defense Ministry said that their respective Patriot will sail for Turkey on January 8. Each country will send its troops later and expects these batteries to be operational in February.

In total, more than 1,000 soldiers of these three countries will come to Turkey to operate these missiles to be deployed in the provinces of Gaziantep, Adana and Kahramanmaras, all in the south of the country.

The Devil came to the U.S. as a man of Peace

By LUIS MIRANDA | THE REAL AGENDA | DECEMBER 20, 2012

While the United States rightfully mourns the death of 20 innocent children who were murdered last week in Newtown, Connecticut, few people realize that as awful as those murders were, the man who has been given the Peace Prize for his supposed work to bring about peace on this planet, is also the same man who knowingly ordered and continues to order the assassination of innocent men, women and children in the Middle East, but for whom he drops no tear.

The death of innocent people in Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria due to attacks conducted by American troops, NATO armed forces, rebel and terrorist groups supported by the United States is hypocritically understood as collateral damage as supposed to be observed and rejected as the murder to human beings of the same kind than those of us who live in the western hemisphere.

Leaving race, politics, ideology and religion aside, the murder of innocent men, women and children must always be identified as murder; not only when it is convenient to call it so. Only an immoral society can justify the murder of some people and condemn the death of others because of their skin color or the geographical area where they live.

Unfortunately, ours is an immoral society, so war and the casualties that war produces are labeled by western leaders as “humanitarian aid” while condemning it as murder when they happen in the United States, France, the United Kingdom or Canada.

The devil has arrived, and it has done so while disguising himself as a man of peace. He has even been awarded a Peace Prize for ordering and conducting the murder of thousands of people in the Middle East, while calling such murders peace actions. This man, who from a comfortable air-conditioned room in the White House, cowardly directs his armed forces to use drones to kill people who pose no threat to him, his country or his people names himself and is named by his supporters in the media and on the streets as the reincarnation of Martin Luther King and Mahatma Ghandi. Others who are even more ignorant call him our Savior.

After the watching the following video you will discover, if you haven’t done so yet, that the savior is nothing more than soulless murderer, who deserves no prize other than being identified as the most deceitful sack of garbage that has even occupied the White House. Why him? Haven’t previous presidents committed similar crimes as well? Yes, but they were confessed war mongers. The most disgusting aspect about Barack Hussein Obama is that, both in public and in private, he uses a double standard to carry out his murderous agenda while dragging a bunch of imbeciles who have been captivated by the tenderness of his voice, his fake tears and the color of his skin.

Barack Obama is not a disgusting creature because he is black, or because he has Arab roots, or because he is from Chicago or for any other reason anyone can think of or associated him with. He is a disgusting creature because he is a wolf in sheep’s wool and he uses such disguise to confuse, swindle and murder. I dare you to watch the following video from beginning to end so you can realize the kind of creature that this man is and how he is not out there to help or comfort anyone, but to carry out an agenda of murder and conquest.

Viewer discretion is advised.

For every child that was murdered at the Sandy Hook school in Newtown, for every person that was killed during the Colorado mass shooting, for every victim of the Oregon shooting, there are hundreds of people who are murdered by the president of the United States, Barack H. Obama. How about we start mourning their deaths as well? Perhaps that mourning will bring back some sensitivity to all of us, so that we can recognize murder when we see it.

Thanks to Infowars.com for putting together irrefutable evidence that instead of being praised for murdering people, Barack H. Obama should be tried for the murder of innocent people who have died by his sword as well as for treason for wanting to use the death of innocent children in the United States to end the constitutional right of the people to keep and bear arms while he kills men, women and children across the world.

U.S. amasses troops and missiles on Turkish border with Syria

By LUIS MIRANDA | THE REAL AGENDA | DECEMBER 17, 2012

As tension escalates in Syria, the U.S. defense secretary, Leon Panetta, signed the order to send two Patriot missile batteries to Turkey, along with more than 400 U.S. soldiers.

“The purpose of this display is to show that the U.S., working with its NATO allies, will support Turkey’s defense, especially threats that may come from Syria,” said Pentagon spokesman George Little , shortly before Panetta landed in Incirlik Air Base (southern Turkey), in a surprise visit. No one at the conference dared to ask why had the U.S. sent troops, weapons and cash before this last shipment.

American missile batteries will join two from Germany and two from Holland and will be operational in late January next year. The Pentagon spokesman did not report where the missiles will be located and only said that the missiles would arrive in Turkey in the coming weeks.

After landing at Incirlik, from Afghanistan, Leon Panneta told reporters traveling with him that the U.S. is working with Turkey, Jordan and Israel to assess the situation in Syria and its supposed storage of chemical weapons. As usual, Panetta showed no proof of the existence of such weapons, much less any evidence that Syrian intends to use them on its people, a claim put out by U.S. intelligence and that the world’s corporate media have been megaphoning for two weeks in a row.

The Secretary of Defense, State and the U.S. President warned of “serious consequences” should Bashar Assad decided to use such weapons against the population. “We have designed various plans to present to the president,” said Panneta. “We have to be prepared.” Up until now, there is no evidence that plans have been drawn by Assad’s regime to use chemical weapons on anyone. In fact, the idea that the supposed movement of the weapons inside Syria is a step forward to launch attacks on Syrians is as valid as believing that Assad is trying to hide the weapons from rebel groups that may use them against the population to blame the Assad regime.

Unfortunately, the terrorist rebel groups do not need to use Assad’s chemicals to pull that one off, since the U.S. and its allies in the region possess enough chemicals to provide to the rebels so they can launch chemical attacks which they will then blame on Bashar Assad’s regime. In a sense, that action would be the perfect false-flag for the U.S. and NATO allies to launch an open assault from air, sea and land.

The idea to send missile batteries to Turkey originated in the country’s complicity on a series of terrorist attacks in Syria, after which its government called for protection from NATO members fearing Syrian retaliation. Such retaliation never came, although Turkey accused Syria of launching missile attacks from across the border. The Turkish regime never showed any proof to support such accusation.

The Patriot missiles deployed in Turkey are ground-air missiles designed to intercept other missiles, with the advantage that the batteries can move quickly and resist jamming. The current model is an evolution that the U.S. began using in the mid-80s, which were used against Iraq in the first Gulf War.

With almost all significant players in Europe recognizing the rebels in Syria as the “true representative” government, the second day of the Brussels European Council meeting, focused its the agenda on foreign policy issues, especially the conflict in Syria and Iran’s nuclear program.

The French president said that the European Union must aim to oust the Syrian president. “Now we have to get him off power as soon as possible,” said Hollande, who recalled that on the ground in Syria, there is a civil war.

Hollande forgot to point out that the civil war was fueled by western powers who have a stake in Syria. France, Germany, Italy, and the United States have all, in one way or another, supported the invasion of Syria and will surely come together if a decision to launch an full scale attack is made.

Germany will send Patriot Missiles to Syrian Border to establish a No-fly Zone

Western oppressors are creating a new military industrial complex enclave in the Middle East.

By LUIS MIRANDA | THE REAL AGENDA | NOVEMBER 22, 2012

Germany will send two missile batteries ‘Patriot-3’ to Turkey’s border with Syria as part of increased Western involvement in Syrian civil war. Even before Ankara made its request for these batteries to NATO, Berlin announced Monday its favorable decision, which is expected to be endorsed without problems in December by the Bundestag.

In total, three batteries of a kind only in the hands of Germany, the Netherlands and the United States, will be shipped to Turkey’s border with Syria. It is expected that the third battery will be sent by Holland. Each battery requires a team of 85 soldiers, so it is expected that Berlin sends in 170 men.

The “Patriot” missiles, with a long history of unequal effects from the first Gulf War to the present day, are interceptor weapons that track and destroy other missiles as well as other air assets. Turkey has been involved in the conflict between the West and the Syrian government, which was preceded by the extermination of Gaddafi in Libya. Turkey has always sided with Washington and NATO, even  though it meant suffering mortar impacts on its territory, whose origin still has not been clarified. Ankara, which has the second largest army in NATO after the United States, has requested support from its NATO partners.

The German desire for involvement in Syria is part of a general decision of increasing Western military involvement in the conflict. Last week, French President François Hollande, announced the shipment of weapons to the Syrian opposition, which it had already been secretly doing since the beginning of the conflict.

The confirmation of France’s involvement was carried out through the British secret services and the U.S., but even more effectively through Turkey and Gulf Arab regimes that oppose Damascus. Syria is in turn an important ally of Iran, which supplies fuel to China. The conflict, therefore has very complex geopolitical perspectives, because neither China nor Iran will be too happy to see Syria being destroyed. In fact, both China and Russia publicly condemned any formal attack against Turkey, although they haven’t act as forcefully when it comes to the dirty war being fought through paramilitary groups led by western countries.

“Patriot” missiles create the conditions for establishing a no-fly zone along the Turkish border. That umbrella, legally impossible today by Russian and Chinese opposition in the Security Council of the UN, would allow the new leadership of the newly formed Syrian insurgents under Western and Arabic patronage, to move into Syria and install a strong camp in the North region of the country. The arrival of the Syrian opposition leaders would create an alternative government and discount Assad’s led government as the official one.

In fact, what is being done in Syria today, is the same that was done in the Middle East before, when the British Empire used part of the Arab territory to create what we know today as Israel. Just as Israel did, a new enclave in Syria would result in either a globalist, military industrial complex oasis, or in the Turkish government annexing such territory in payment for its collaboration with the West. What the missile batteries will ensure, is that Syrian planes will not attack the north region so that terrorist groups working for the opposition will have safe heaven to launch attacks against the rest of the country.

German Defense Minister Thomas de Maiziere, and the secretary general of NATO, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, believe in the plan to create a no-fly zone and said that the deployment of batteries and assistance to Turkey have “defensive ” character. “NATO is determined to defend the territorial integrity of Turkey,” said Rasmussen. Mr. de Maiziere forgets that it was Turkey, not Syria the country that began attacking the territorial integrity of Syria by hosting terrorist groups and western intelligence operatives on its border with Syria. His premise is disinformation.

Turkey has a long history of oppression of its Kurdish minority, a large minority of between nine and thirteen million people. With tens of thousands of victims to their own oppression of the Kurds would certainly be one of the great themes of human rights in Europe if it wasn’t for Turkey’s loyalty towards the West.

Capable of covering tens of kilometers of Syrian territory from its location Turkish batteries complicate a predictable action Syrian air forces against insurgent leadership when this is established there as you are encouraged to do so from Paris, Berlin and Washington. This is a central figure Riad Seif, a well-known in Berlin and living in the German capital, recently reported the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. Seif is a member of an “international working group” led from the German foreign ministry plans to reform Syria’s economy after the fall of the current regime of Assad.

As in the case of the military intervention in Afghanistan, a majority of Germans now oppose sending missile batteries to Syria: 58%, according to a survey released yesterday. Only 31% approve such a measure. Rightfully so, as Germany has no business in attacking Syria or any other country that poses no threat to them or anyone else other than the terrorist groups that want to overthrow governments in the Middle East. Germany is acting as a copy cat of the United States and taking advantage of its NATO membership to show concern about a conflict that should be solved by its main actors, not western military agitators.

Mitt Romney will continue Obama’s Plan to destroy the Middle East and North Africa

By LUIS MIRANDA | THE REAL AGENDA | OCTOBER 10, 2012

The Republican candidate for the U.S. presidency, Mitt Romney said Tuesday  that if he wins the election next November, the United States will continue to arm the opposition in Syria to fight against the regime of Bashar al-Assad. This statement may be surprising for many who see Romney as an alternative to Obama’s failed ‘hope and change’ hoax. But the truth is that neither candidate seems to deviate significantly from the travesty administration of George W. Bush, who democrats blame for everything that Obama inherited; or from Bill Clinton who built carried out the same policies that Bush Sr., Bush Jr. and Obama support.

The thought that a Romney presidency will further help set up the Middle East and North Africa ablaze is not so strange. Mitt Romney himself has said it clearly in his speech at the  Virginia Military Institute in Lexington. He assured the audience that if elected on November 6, he will work with U.S. allies to “identify and organize the Syrian opposition members” who share their values “and to ensure they get the weapons they need to defeat tanks, helicopters and planes from the Assad government”. This statement is revealing indeed. Mr. Romney has confessed that his administration shares the same values of the Syrian opposition groups.

The Syrian fighters are admittedly, US and NATO supported members of Al-Qaeda and its affiliate terrorist groups, so in a sense, Romney has admitted to supporting the use of terrorism to bring about change in Syria. As The Real Agenda has reported before, the terrorist militias that attack innocent people in Syria are the same groups that operate from across right across the border on Turkish territory. These are also the same groups that launched a false-flag attack against Turkey — the weapons used belonged to NATO — to blame Syria for it, so Turkey would have an excuse to fire its weapons against Syria. The government of Turkey has officially approved legislation to attack Syria and it has been doing so for the past 7 days. The move has been praised by NATO, the UN the United States government and of course Mr. Romney himself.

During his speech in Virginia, the former governor of Massachusetts criticized the “passive policy” of President Barack Obama in the Middle East conflict, and the absence of a strong reaction to the attack on an American consulate in Libya last month that killed U.S. ambassador, Chris Stevens, and three other U.S. officials. So for Romney the killing of hundreds of people by US allies and guerrilla groups that operate clandestinely in Libya and Syria, and which are funded with American taxpayer dollars is way too passive. As it has now been revealed, the attack on the American consulate was at the very least overlooked by the Obama administration after receiving multiple requests and warnings that the attack was coming.

According to Romney, Obama has failed both Israel and the Palestinians, as “what should be a negotiation process has become a series of heated disputes in the United Nations,” said Romney. “In this old conflict, as in every challenge we face in the Middle East, only a new president will bring the opportunity to start over. There is a yearning for American leadership,” said the candidate, who gave no details of his plan for the region.

Romney said that the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, which incidentally happened on September 11, was probably the work of “the same forces” who bombed the US in 2001. “You can not blame this attack on a video that insulted Islam even though the government has tried to convince us of it for so long,” he added.

Regarding the Iranian threat, the Republican to occupy the White House said it would take in “new sanctions and tighten” existing ones to bring Iran to its knees. “I will restore the permanent presence of aircraft carrier task forces in both the eastern Mediterranean and in the Gulf region, and work with Israel to increase military assistance and coordination,” he added. In other words, Romney intends not only to sustain the current murderous campaign being carried out by Barack Obama, but also to increase the level of aggression against non aligned nations.

Obama is credited — wrongfully many argue — with the death of the leader of the terrorist network Al Qaeda, Osama bin Laden, the end of the war in Iraq, a limited military intervention that ended the regime of Muammar Gaddafi in Libya with intensified air attacks with drones against suspected terrorists, and the gradual reduction of troops in Afghanistan.

As a political candidate, Romney has adopted the concept of many conservatives in the United States according to which political systems of Europe, especially the French, are socialists and contrary to the “free market” American style. This is true, just as it is true what Romney said about self-entitled, government-dependent people who can never get enough welfare and who knowingly choose to support the bribery system sponsored by the central government.

But the similarities between Obama and Romney do not stop at speeches given to brainwashed supporters. Both the US president and the Republican candidate believe that government can and should Bailouts, ‘too big to fail’ entities, provide free money to banks and corporations in the form of stimulus packages, use quantitative easing and deficit spending as development policies, send troops to protect others borders and sending taxpayer money to foreign dictators, intervene in the affairs of other nations, restrict gun ownership, surveil and oppress citizens with tools such as the Patriot Act and warrantless wiretaps and so on.

Both presidential candidates also support the indefinite detention of American citizens without charge, trial or legal counsel. They both support the assassinations of American citizens or anyone else without due process and socialized healthcare, among others.

Choosing the least dangerous option this time around is just not a viable way to go this time for the American people, because Romney and Obama as equally dangerous.
