Transhumanists Vow to Destroy our Spirit and Nature

Futurists call merger of humans with androids Evolution

By LUIS MIRANDA | THE REAL AGENDA | JUNE 27, 2012

Humanity has come to a halt, we are all doomed unless we adopt a new way of living and a new way of being. The world is rapidly racing towards a black hole where nothing is known, and where everything we as humans have achieved may be lost, unless we do what they want. For them, civilization is like an uncaptained ship that is now sailing in rough seas without any control whatsoever. The time humanity has to make the right turn is shorter and shorter. Humanity, they say, has brought itself to a dead-end that will lead us all to a new dark age.

Does this seem like a perfect plot for a doomsday movie or what? Well, it’s not. This is the vision held by the people who believe that humanity, despite all of its achievements, is like a giant mammoth that has slowed itself down because of its incapacity to see further than its nose. This humanity that traveled into space and is ready to reach for the stars is destined to suffer much affliction and degradation, they say. According to their plans, which we all need to follow to come out of the black hole we are in now, it is necessary to create a whole new kind of man. This new kind of human will also need new paradigms, says their propaganda. It will require the deepest social transformation, and they want to recruit the supposed world leaders to ‘encourage’ everyone to accept this new social contract.

How will they achieve this dream? By implementing a carefully calculated technological revolution, an experiment where we humans are the lab rats they will use to test their so-called advancements. They want to become the ship’s captain. “To focus of the technologies of the future… nanotechnology, biotechnology, information technology, cognitive technology, genetics and robotics.” It is through the use of these branches of science and their applications that they intend to impose, not to offer as an alternative, the complete modification of the environment were all live in and the way a human looks and feels. Yes, it has already begun.

The official launch of the Global Future 2045 movement seems to have been founded in 2011, and it held its first global meeting in March of 2012, when they revealed their vision and plans for the next 30 years. It is interesting to see how they connect the need to abandon all current understanding about everything because of the growing awakening humanity is in, which seeks to challenge a centuries old system of government which has always worked for the social engineers and never for the governed. It is now that humans opened their eyes to what has been going on for hundreds of years that the globalists behind the GF 2045 movement come to us all with a conciliatory manner. This is no doubt an attempt to calm down the roaring lion that has awakened after a long period if hibernation. Now that humanity seems to be getting off their knees, the controllers want to offer us a new way of being slaves to a new global system.

The implementation of nanotechnology, biotechnology, information technology, cognitive technology, genetics and robotics will no doubt help humanity progress into the future, the question is, in what forms? and, will it be for the best? The idea that world leaders have been already recruited to carry out the transhumanist agenda to their fellow citizens is a worrying start. When have world leaders actually worked for the betterment of their constituents? For those who shelter their hopes in the men of science, let me remind you that men of science have always worked with world leaders to carry out some of the most outrageous abuses against humankind. So neither our world leaders nor our men of science have the integrity to carry out their work, but according to the transhumanists, it is great that both groups are in a position of power when it comes to bringing about what they say is limitless human evolution.

The creation of new materials, starting at the nano scale, improvements in transportation, studying the power of the human brain, creating and using artificial intelligence, and other great promises made by the transhumnists are nothing new for the people who are mildly informed about the what happens in the real world. Perhaps the pinnacle of the transhumanists is their desire to be immortal, and then to achieve perfection, and that what the ultimate goal of their propaganda seems to suggest. The endgame for them is to be able to transplant a human brain into an android which will give it optimum conditions to operate. Later, this will permit the half humans to transfer their consciousness into a hard drive, which according to the GF 2045 will allow for new and never before seen cognitive experiences and feelings.

Before continuing, let’s be clear about something that is very important. Humanity has not been able to take off into the stars because there are a handful of social engineers, many of whom probably are behind the GF 2045 movement, who have posed limits to what humans can do, by keeping new technologies from seeing the light of day and hoarding the benefits of such technologies for themselves. Are we supposed to believe that those social engineers are now ready to share their wealth of knowledge with the rest of humanity so that we can all experience the reality of what technology can actually provide us? You be the judge.

The transhumanists led by people like Ray Kurzweil want people to become more manageable, to function in a realm where they can all be completely controlled, where we will be intellectual property. This is a point that those who send hate mail calling the refusal to accept transhumanism an attempt to keep us all in the dark ages or obscurantism. In their pursue of immortality, transhumanists want humans to transfer their existence into a metallic box that will be their home for the rest of their existence. That is the vision of living they have for the future. They believe that by transferring their consciousness to a machine — if that is even possible in the time frame they envision it — will help them defeat the the tyranny of nature and the imperfection and affliction of their human spirit. It doesn’t matter how outrageous this sounds, or if you don’t believe it or find it too far fetched; the transhumanists believe it is possible and they want us all to be part of this system for the same reason that the social engineers have always cited when trying to impose a new paradigm: the collective welfare.

The implications of letting transhumanists manage the ship of humanity are greater than we could ever imagine. They talk about a new civilization paradigm which includes vast changes in philosophy, ideological affiliation, new ethics, new culture and a new psychology. The consequence of such drastic changes will be the emergence of a new reality and a new man that will arise to conquer the solar system and the infinite space. But for those of us who do not jump on the bandwagon, this new system doesn’t have any democratic alternative, to use a well know term. “It is not a matter of whether it will happen, because it will happen, and those who do not accept it will be left behind and will ultimately die off,” says Peter Diamandis, CEO of the X Prize Foundation on the film The Transcendent Man. “As we merge with machines, and I think that is inevitable that we will, we will transform into something new.” This is a key point, because that new thing we will all be transformed into will not be human anymore. It will be a brain inside a case to which programs and commands will be fed to carry out what its intellectual owners want it to do.

What transhumanists don’t seem to understand, or at least do not want to recognize publicly, is that being human is not only about thinking or reasoning; that is only one part of it. That is why putting our brains in metal cases where their are directed by software cannot be called evolution. The androids that will carry those human brains will not be able to think for themselves or have free will, which is indeed the things that make us all humans.

In their video 2045: A New Era of Humanity, the transhumanists label humans as lazy, conformist and incapable of affecting change. “Humanity does not have a master plan of its development. It seeks stability, it lives in the present and does not plan. It preserves the status quo and  tries to escape development. It does not tend to map the future centuries and take responsibility for evolution.” In a consumerist society culture there is no room for any of that. Fortunately, humanity is not completely doomed, because the Russia GF 2045 movement has taken the lead when it comes to engineering tomorrow’s reality. “We intend to create a new vector for civilization,” they brag while calling for a new everlasting spiritual paradigm which they believe will save us from any future state of conflict.

Next, they make use of a well-known tactic of the social engineers, which is to make people feel included and to tell them how their contribution will shape the destiny of humankind. This same technique is used by the fake environmental movement and the United Nations that created social and political fora in order to attract people who are usually lost in the limbo of disinformation and propaganda sustained by the corporate media and the entertainment industry. Under this new paradigm, the transhumanists say, “we’ll get away from the murder of nature and physical death.”

Now, in 2012, they’ve begun establishing themselves as the only possible solution to all problems faced by humankind. From 2012 – 2013, they predict, the global unrest caused by the current financial meltdown will increase the public debate about the future of human development. Actually, many of us had already predicted that outcome. So nothing new here. What is new is how they intend to use the search for a solution to present themselves as the differential that will transform it all for the best. They predict that new transhumanist movements and parties will emerge out of the chaos, and that those movements will help carry out the post-human agenda around the world. The way to maintain all those transhumanists together is by way of the 2045.com platform, which they advertise as the instrument to present ideas and innovative initiatives. There, people can vote and provide input on the best model of what they call an avatar, which in essence is the hybrid form of the first non human being.

The GF 2045 platform is supposed to be an outlet where scientists, academics, financiers and managers can get together with humans whose ideas may be used in the transformation of our natural world into a synthetic one, where nano robots will be in charge of keeping everything working to perfection.

The years of 2013 to 2014 will see the rise of the human spare parts industry, where science will finally figure out a way to use advanced robotic parts to fit into human bodies whenever they need to replace a leg, an arm, fingers or feet. Have you seen this scenario in Fringe; the propaganda show which presents one of the main characters, Nina Sharp, using a robotic arm and hand? It looks very convenient. “The race to immortality starts,” says their video. By 2014, the envision the creation of robotic human copies, a new kind of hybrid human. This new class will turn into servants. They also talk about flying cars, brain implants to help humans control machines with their own minds.

A big jump, say transhumanists, will occur by 2025, when artificial intelligence will support brain activity. Human brains will then be transplanted to the bodies of hybrids, which will provide a whole new set of sense driven experiences. By 2030, transhumanists intend to have completed the reverse engineering of the human brain, although to many that outcome is closer from happening. This will help transhumanists understand the meaning of “consciousness” and to apply in later phases of their plan. By 2035, those who seek immortality plan to have nano robots that can take any form they want. These nano robots will also exist in forms like holograms.

The years of 2040-2045 will bring the beginning of the end for the authentic human race, which by 2050 will have been submitted to a new social structure where science and technology will control all aspects of life.  In the spiritual side of things, the new age religion will have substituted all other religions in what the United Nations has dubbed the end of war and the start of “spiritual self-improvement”. In their own words, 2050 will bring drastic changes in our social structure. “A new era dawns, the era of neo humanity”

According to Alan Watt, this concept of neo-humanity is nothing more than neo-eugenics and a part of the war against humanity. As explained on one of his numerous interviews “culture is created from the top down and used by the elite to manipulate and pervert natural human instincts towards their own ends. Every change in culture, right down to fashion and music, had to be authorized and promoted from the top. This science of mass mind control is still taught today by the insiders and mediums such as television are used as weapons of social control to prevent humanity from ever realizing its full potential.”

Watt has for a long time studied how the technocrats planned what they wanted to do with humanity for periods of hundreds of years at the time, and how they would implement such agendas. According to Watt, each and every cultural change was carefully put in place and imposed through a very effective cultural bombardment before the arrival of every cycle of planetary eugenics. Well, the people who are at the head of those plans are also behind the transhumanism movement. If you are a supporter of transhumanism and do not believe your leaders could be capable of taking advantage of yourself again, look back at history and you’ll realize that this is not only true, but that the description herein falls short to what their plans actually intend to achieve.

Examples of what you’ll find is evidence of how sperm counts have dropped up to 80 per cent over the past 50 years, and not by chance. Perhaps that won’t be bad enough for some people, so maybe they’ll be interested to know how Bisphenol A in plastics and cosmetic products contribute to the intoxication of our bodies. The transhumanist agenda is just part of the master plan which has been public for decades and centuries in globalist papers and writings created by people like Bertrand Russell and the Aldus Huxley’s Brave New World. Those were not fiction books, but blueprints for the future of humanity.

We are far from the days when the elite wanted that every human behaved as a slave or a servant and into an overdrive mode where they will simply control each and everyone who willingly accepts their trendiest solution to adopt a mechanical body for the sake of immortality. The heads of the transhumanist movement understand very well that in order for their bosses to achieve their ultimate goal of total control, they’ll need voluntaries, not violent opposition to their plans, and the best way to recruit millions of volunteers is by offering what every human being dreams about: a free and easy path to illumination. They will not get to that state of course. Instead, every human that enters that new era of neo-humanity will simply become a servant who will accept his or her slavery as the natural form of existence.

We can’t take them seriously because of the insanity of their suggestion — to impose transhumanism on everyone — but we can’t dismiss them either because they are dead serious about it.

The Next Genetic Assembly Line

By LUIS MIRANDA | THE REAL AGENDA | MAY 30, 2012

The analogy of how children are grown as vegetables and indoctrinated through the traditional school system is a useful tool to understand what society is like today. One could think of the planet as a gigantic production line, where people are born, allegedly educated, grown into families and neighborhoods, where they work and live. But what if there was an actual way to literally ‘make’ people in a mass scale, just as humans make cars and other machinery or even spare parts for those machines? Well, the prospects definitely exist right now to have a people assembly line from where the military industrial complex will be able to produce people.

The Defense Advanced Projects Research Agency (DARPA) has partnered with Venter Launch Assembly Line for Genetic Engineering to begin what could be called the next generation of smart beings. I will refrain from calling them humans, because it is unclear at this point how is it that a being born in a lab will resemble one of us. Instead, it seems, the adventure DARPA is envisioning appears to be all about using biology and genetic engineering to produce living cells which will then be turned into some kind of living beings; perhaps humans.

The program is called Living Foundries, and it is not anything that hasn’t been spoken about before. However, the actual application of techniques previously reported or projected is what has made many people’s jaws drop. The announcement that a group of well-financed scientists intend to have a factory of man-made organisms should be shocking, unless people do not fully understand it. As in most cases, this new technological advancement has the potential for good and bad. It depends who manages it. Unfortunately, in the case of the creation of living organisms, those who have the science and the resources to manage the project are the same people who in the past have shown they operate on behalf of groups that do not necessarily have the best of the intentions.

The Living Foundries program is not new. It was announced last year by DARPA after providing some $15 million in research money to a handful of institutions to initiate the work. Among these institutions is the  J. Craig Venter Institute. Its head, Dr. Craig Venter, was one of the first to sequence the human genome, which then turned into a successful adventure to create synthetic human DNA. The fields of biology and genetic engineering are responsible, among other things, for producing super resistant spider web, but it are also the same people who have made it possible for humans to get contaminated with genetically engineered miniscule crystals which have been shown to develop electrical wire-like filaments. This phenomenon is better know as Morgellons Disease. Biology, genetic engineering and nanotechnology are the creators of what seems to be a campaign to rewire humanity and get us all on the way to becoming transcendent people. Read more about the findings on the secretive ongoing human re-engineering in our article Chemtrails: Beyond Geo-engineering Planetary Weather, where we explain how Morgellons is not a mental derangement, as many physicians like to call it.

According to DARPA, Living Foundries “seeks to create the engineering framework for biology, speeding the biological design-build-test cycle and expanding the complexity of systems that can be engineered. The Program aims to develop new tools, technologies and methodologies to decouple biological design from fabrication, yield design rules and tools, and manage biological complexity through abstraction and standardization.” Please pay close attention to the “standardization” part of the matter. As in many of its projects, DARPA presents this new adventure as a challenge to make current technology into a more productive and efficient tool from where new and better results will be obtained. From this perspective, DARPA expresses its need to get a host of disciplines involved, as supposed to only one.

In the article we referenced above, we explain how several disciplines need to be involved in the creation of such technological advancements. Among those are Nanotechnology, Biology, Genetic Engineering and others. Back on March 20, we even presented what seems to be the current delivery system — aerosol spraying — by which the military industrial complex is already implementing the Living Foundries technology to change humans from the inside. The announcement from the US Department of Defense simply confirms what we have reported on regarding human engineering. An important question about the involvement of the above mentioned disciplines is why them? How do they help create new forms of life, or for that matter to re-engineered existent life forms? I will explain that in a little bit; but perhaps it is equally important to understand ask and understand whether re-engineering of current living organisms — including humans — will require to re-engineer the environment where we live and where those new organisms will live. The answer is YES, and it is also on its way.

Enter a new field of study and application known as Transbiology. This is the manipulation of naturally occurring biological beings through nanotechnology or biotechnology as well as the creation of new living things using advanced techniques from genetic engineering. Nowadays, we have scientific advancements that not only allow knowledgeable people to sequence human DNA, from which they can begin to ‘innovate’ , but who also the proven applications to turn such knowledge into products. As in the case of Morgellons Disease, scientists developed  crystals which develop filaments or fibers that create their own red blood cells capable of resisting extreme conditions such as heat, high levels of chemicals, cold, acid, and so on. These fibers even have the capacity to grow outside the human body in a laboratory environment. Similar fibers are found in patients with Morgellons Disease.

Accomplishing this vision requires an approach that is more than multidisciplinary – it requires a new engineering discipline built upon the integration of new ideas, approaches and tools from fields spanning computer science and electrical engineering to chemistry and the biological sciences.  The best innovations will introduce new architectures and tools into an open technology platform to rapidly move new designs from conception to execution.” This is perhaps the best statement to confirm what DARPA is up to, except that it is not a project that will be completed in the future, but one that is well underway. Note the involvement the project requires and how the application of different techniques confirms what Morgellons researchers have found to be genetically engineered, human-like products. Please try to mentally attach the bold words to the following: In the nano-tech industry, scientists use what they call the nano-tech pyramid in order to show and organize the process that is followed to create new materials or elements. That pyramid starts at the bottom with simple materials which are then turned into structures. Those structures aid in the completion of processes which finally create “devices”.

If you don’t see enough proof here that DARPA has been working on this and has developed products as a consequence of their experiments, please be aware of the agency’s own statement. The official announcement of the search for and advanced group of tools and capabilities was made back in 2011. Those tools and capabilities, DARPA said, had to produce a technology platform that quickly, safely and predictably created biological production systems. “The goals of these advanced tools and capabilities are to compress the biological design-build-test cycle by at least 10x in both time and cost while increasing the complexity of the systems that can be designed and executed by orders of magnitude. These advancements should enable the ability to rapidly design and build new systems to create novel capabilities and to address complex challenges.”

Since the military industrial complex has already tested some of their creation in open air experiments, both to change humans from the inside and alter the environment where we humans live, the next logical step is to create living organisms from scratch. This effort will most likely begin by building a stock of parts that will be made based on human DNA or a combination of DNA and GNA, which is the DNA’s synthetic twin. This stock of parts will, in a very near future, guarantee the existence of what DARPA ultimately seeks: a never ending source of human-synthetic replacement parts to rapidly advance the transformation of humanity and the world where we live into a new environment that is sufficiently mature and adequate for the merger of human and genetically engineered machines. In a not too distant future, the people in charge of the military industry will no longer need actual humans since they will be able to create their own.

Synthetic biology, also known as Transbiology, as we demonstrated before has the capacity to produce new materials with new capabilities which will be available the same way we access satellite television today: On-demand. Note also that this technology is being pursued to satisfy military needs, not consumer or human needs. The genetic engineering field has already produced advanced organisms such as violent viruses and pathogens of the kind created by Dr. Kawaoka’s research team, which is also financed by the military industrial complex. They managed to produce a fast and easily spreading H5N1 flu virus by genetically implementing three changes on the virus’ genes.

According the DARPA’s plan, the course of its new program is supposed to go through the creation of “parts, regulators, devices and circuits” that can be used to produce genetic systems. Those systems will then serve as testing grounds for the creation of new materials which will enable their ‘assembly line’.

Engineered virus which hacks & controls brain

Russia Today
December 16, 2011

Today, an average computer user cannot even keep the machine secured. So what will the world look like when hacking your mind becomes as easy as infecting your machine with a computer virus?

Human knowledge on DNA nanotechnology and bio-molecular computing increases exponentially with every passing year. Thus, protecting your own brain from security breaches could become the highest priority challenge of the 21st century.

Synthetic biology is becoming one of the most powerful forms of technology in the world. But many people fear that scientists’ games with the genetics of life forms could spin out of control and open the door to a new age of bio-hacking and bio-terrorism.

Natural living viruses and bacteria are not only making people sick, they also control the behavior and condition of the hosts, though without any malice. But the consequences of getting exposed to an artificially-created virus could be much more serious than a headache or a fever.

“Synthetic biology will lead to new forms of bioterrorism,” security expert Marc Goodman told the Daily Mail. “Bio-crime today is akin to computer crime in the early ’80s.”

Viruses and bacteria are manipulating the chemicals inside the human body and, by programming them to send the right agents into the brain, the bio-programmer potentially can take control over the victim’s behavior.

We are seeing the opening stages of the synthetic biology industry. Some basic tasks like decoding, insertion and excision of parts of the DNA, and relatively successful attempts of cloning is pretty much everything that modern science can carry through.

But in the ’80s, computer science technology was actually at the same level of maturity. At that time no one could really believe that 20 years later any person would have a greater power over the computer  – and not only the one that belongs to him – than the best present-day programmers.

Cells are living computers and DNA is a programming language that can be used to control and influence life forms, believes Andrew Hessel of Singularity University, on NASA’s research campus.

“Synthetic biology – the writing of life,” Hessel says. “It’s growing fast. It will grow faster than computer technologies.”

Programming the DNA, however, is more of a speculation at this point. There is no development environment or any frameworks to manipulate the cell. Just like in computer programming, a set of basic instructions and codes has to be developed before an average coder could perform some task of greater complexity.

The industry is developing rapidly and the future of DNA programming seems bright. But drawing parallels with computer science, it would be better for humankind to recognize the problem of “malicious bio-programmers” with all possible seriousness and proactively develop defensive and counter-offensive methods.

Editor’s note: Synthetic biology is not the only way to control people’s mind. Radiofrequency waves have been used and continue to be used to control a person’s mind. Everyone is familiar with MK ULTRA, MK NAOMI and other mind control programs that were run by intelligence agencies in the past. Additionally, HAARP has the capacity to be used as a mind control weapon. This was exposed by Dr. Nick Begich during an interview on what is HAARP capable of doing. See the complete Dr. Begich’s interview here.  Part 2  Part 3  Part 4  Part 5

Agribusiness: Food Safety’s Greatest Enemy

By Luis R. Miranda
The Real Agenda
May 11, 2011

Misinformed people enjoy calling population growth the menace of the 21st century, especially when it is related to food availability. Although access to food is one of the most important issues that humanity faces today, the “food problem” has everything to do with its safety and nothing to do with the lack of it due to planetary overpopulation. The world has changed in many ways in the last fifty years and many of those changes have been for good, but many important ones for very bad. In the past, most countries produced their own food, and people were food independent. Today, a handful of corporations control the whole process of seed and food production and distribution. When it comes to food supply, perhaps there is a worse consequence than monopolistic practices and policies. Food, which is supposed to provide us with nutrition is actually making us sick and in many cases killing us.

In the United Kingdom, a bacteria called Campylobacter found in chickens causes diarrhea, fever, abdominal pain and cramping. Often times, it worsens and produces chronic, life-threatening, conditions. It is estimated that 85% of the chickens in the UK are infected. Meanwhile, in the United States, the Norovirus, which is transmitted through manipulation of food with dirty hands, as well as Salmonella, that infects people who ingest food with feces, cause vomiting and diarrhea, fever and cramps. These are only two examples of poor food management in what we call the “developed world”. But it gets worse in third world countries, where rules for food safety are less clear or simply ignored by the food industry.

In China, for example, a 2008 case of food contamination with melamine caused the death of six babies and made 300,000 others ill. The contamination occurred when melamine, and industrial chemical got into the milk supply. Back in the “developed world”, Germany had its own case of massive food poisoning with dioxin in some 4,000 farms around the country. A German company sold 200,000 tones of animal feed contaminated with dioxins and this feed was given to thousands of animals. Dioxins are poisons that cause cancer.

Although there is not a formal process to record food poisoning cases and other health threats carried around by tainted food, the data made available shows that food contamination is a common affair in most nations. Even countries that manage to have their own system to keep food clean from chemicals and natural born bacteria and viruses cannot avoid massive cases of poisoning among its citizens. In Singapore, 3 million people die every year as a result of food poisoning.

Unsafe to Eat

A recent assessment issued by GRAIN, an international non-profit organisation that reports on food safety issues around the world and whether a crop is suitable to eat or not, described a series of reasons to consider when determining food safety. “Bad practices (poor hygiene, animal abuse, reliance on antibiotics and pesticides), unproven or risky technologies (genetic modification, nanotechnology, irradiation, cloning), deliberate contamination (such as tampering), or just poor supervision” are just a few of the reasons why food arrives contaminated to your table. That is why a relevant matter with food safety has to do with the size of the corporations that produce the things we all eat. It is a fact that the industrialized food scheme that governs food production and distribution is the main cause of today’s food pollution. It all comes to size. If a small producer of meat or vegetables provides contaminated food, the impact is small, but if a large company that produces and distributes food all around the world manages its processes badly, the result is more often than not, thousands of people ill and many others dying as a consequence of tainted food.

Big scale production and distribution is one of the main causes of massive food poisoning. Not only are standards more difficult to enforce when a company produces large amounts of packed meat or grains, but also it is likely those companies are not as concerned with enforcing practices that guarantee good hygiene and work security, for example. The quantity of product that enters and exits a meat packing plant or a grain processing facility makes it almost impossible to keep an eye on every single item that circulates in and out. The policies that govern large producing units are to receive, pack and send out as much of the product as possible.

Where are the regulators?

In one sentence, government regulators are usually in bed with Big Corp. It is not realistic to believe that bureaucrats who oversee food safety are simply unaware of problems with the production and distribution of food, although that is usually the excuse given by them and the government to justify their inaction. There is plenty of proof that both government agencies and corporations are continuously colluding to avoid enforcing the laws that protect consumers. Almost every new law passed regarding food safety opens a new door for the food industry to untie a regulation and produce food their own way. Take for example the case of raw milk. Milk is processed through pasteurization and homogenization literally everywhere. Countries that have not banned the sale and consumption of raw milk are currently working on legislation to do it. Milk processing is needed, governments and corporations say, to avoid the ingestion of bacteria that may exist in the milk when it is raw. However, it is also true that milk pasteurization and homogenization simply kills all nutrients that natural raw milk has. Did anyone say calcium deficiency pandemic? Osteoporosis? There is a pill to solve those problems of course.

Raw milk is one of the most important sources of nutrition for poor folks around the world. It is one of a few affordable sources of nutrition and it can be easily boiled at home to guarantee its safety. So why are governments enforcing laws or regulations that ban raw milk? They are effectively creating and imposing regulations sent to them by the World Trade Organization, an institution that works for the international food cartel that controls most of the production and distribution of food. Other reasons commonly given to justify banning the sale of raw milk is the idea that it will help modernize the dairy industry, which in turn will bring benefits because the companies will be able to compete with others that import and export milk and other products. None of this is true. The real reason is that countries affiliated to the WTO are mandated to adhere to its regulations if they want to have a chance to participate in so called Free Trade Agreements. Free Trade Agreements are tools used by the corporations to amass control over most if not all productive activities. Truly, food safety policies have little to do with public health and everything to do with complete control of market, monopolies, profits and dominance.

Free Trade Agreements are the materialization of monopolistic controls executed by multilateral organizations on behalf of Big Corp. The negotiation rounds that are held often within a country or at the WTO’s headquarters regarding food production, are dealt with as matters of commerce and not as issues related to science or food accessibility. Around the world, corporations dictate more and more what is allowed as a practice for food production and manipulation and what isn’t. GRAIN cites the cases of companies that feed cows with animal parts as a way to provide protein to them. This practice in many cases leads to Mad Cow Disease, but it is still permitted in countries like the Unites States and Japan. Another case is that of ractopamine, a substance given to pigs to promote their growth. This element is added to their feed. In a rare siding with food safety, even countries like China and whole regions like the European Union, that together produce around 70 percent of the world’s supply of pork, banned its use in meat. Other countries like the U.S. continue to use ractopamine in the feed given to pigs, turkeys, chickens and cows. The U.S. government not only allows its use but often times defends the producer of ractopamine, Eli Lilly and its meat exports from being banned in countries with whom it has trade agreements. Not only are American consumers being contaminated with this chemical, but also every person in every country that accepts American pork, beef, turkey and chickens.

Free Trade Agreements as Tools to Impose Corporate Regulations

In the last 3 decades, Free Trade Agreements have become the default tool used by Big Corp and enabled by the World Trade Organization and the World Health Organization to enforce their rules and carry out their game. It all began back in the 80’s with negotiations known as GATT. Later came the free trade agreements between Europe and Latin American countries and others between North America and Latin American countries such as ALCA, CAFTA and NAFTA. Contained in those agreements are all kinds of tricks written by the corporations to definitely manipulate and control markets. This is so, because there are few restrictions as related to what can be commercialized. The goal that all the previous negotiations had in common was that they promoted the exchange of the cheapest goods at the lowest prices. This would be positive if it wasn’t because cheap goods mean contaminated food, endless abuses to labor laws and laborers and the conquest of global markets by a few corporations that now decide what is produced, sold, bought, tariffed, quotaed, and who want to “protect” everything, including what is not theirs, against “theft” by using absurd intellectual property laws that are attached to all trade agreements.

Free Trade Agreements have nothing to do with free trade, benefiting consumers or enabling the growth of small or mid-size farmers. What the corporations that control governments around the world want is a free pass to invade all markets and produce everything we eat and use, so everyone else but them is dependent on products made across the world for their survival. As GRAIN cites it, free trade agreements are mechanisms to create backdoors used to limit market access. These agreements do nothing to promote or guarantee food safety or public health, but to assure the corporations unlimited growth and gigantic profit margins. Companies achieve market monopolies by creating policies that although inexplicably ridiculous, are accepted as the standard around the world. These policies are adapted to limit fair competition in every country in a way that only those countries where the big corporations run or have an interest in, are allowed to actually exchange anything.

The European Union banned Indian fish imports because the producers did not comply with European rules such as that fish processing facilities had to be sanitized with potable water, even though India lacks the infrastructure to provide clean water to most of its population. In Tanzania, fishermen had the same experience. They used to get 80 percent of their income from Europe, but after the E.U. banned their product, the fishermen had no market for it. Uganda also suffered a similar outcome. The Ugandan case cost the country $40 million in loses. So how did Europe manage to eat fish? Corporations such as Pescanova moved into Africa and began to serve the european market. Once it installed itself in the continent, the company acquired the whole production and distribution business.

The Case for Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO)

What could be more unsafe to eat than genetically modified organisms that have been proven, time after time, to be harmful to humans and animals. Regardless of conclusive evidence that GMO’s are dangerous to our health, government agencies around the world continue to authorize the use of genetically modified ingredients in the food supply. Not only that, they also refuse to label the products that contain GMO’s alleging it is unfair to the companies that manufacture them and that it may actually be confusing for consumers. In the case of GMO salmon, for example, the pro GMO industry says salmon should not be labeled because their product is identical to the wild salmon. The same is true for other products such as corn, soy, milk and vegetables. The thought that a well informed consumer is the best tool for strong businesses just doesn’t do it anymore for Big Corp. As far as they are concerned, a pool of consumers with the least information possible, is the best scenario to carry out their business practices. A diplomatic cable revealed by Wikileaks details how the Bush administration pressured the government of France to ease their concerns about genetically modified organisms. The cable read:

“we calibrate a target retaliation list that causes some pain across the EU since this [acceptance of GMOs] is a collective responsibility, but that also focuses in part on the worst culprits “. The list should be measured rather than vicious and must be sustainable over the long term, since we should not expect an early victory”.

This push to impose the use of genetically modified organisms is a clear example of how Big Corp exercises its control of governments so giants like Monsanto, DuPont, ConAgra, Cargill and other biotechnology corporations have no interruptions in countries that may want to ban GM seeds or foods, or require labels that inform consumers. Along with France, the corporations that control the United States government also mine the sovereignty of third world countries that have no say over the safety practices utilized in the production, import and export of food crops in their own land. As it happens in developed countries, third world nations are also ordered to “relax” their opposition to GMO’s and to eliminate any “exageration” of the risks that come with the use and consumption of GMO’s. With the creation and implementation of Codex Alimentarius, Big Corp has been strengthened even more. The set of regulations contained in the Codex Alimentarius documents make it clear that neither the corporations nor the transnational agencies that govern food safety and global health are interested in healthy humans or safe food. In fact, it is through Codex Alimentarius that the corporations intend to control the natural foods and supplement markets, by banning natural food production and commercialization and substituting it with laboratory created pharmaceutical products labeled as “natural supplements”.

Codex Alimentarius is the United Nations and World Health Organization’s FrankenScience to push Restrictions on what you are allowed to eat. Since the 1960´s there is a concerted effort not only to limit the choices we as consumers and human beings have in order to take care of our health, but also to restrict the access to food itself as we know it. Codex Alimentarius (Codex for short) means “Food Code.” This world food code is a United Nations agency, jointly sponsored by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). It has existed for nearly 50 years and its international statute gives it a joint mission: protecting food safety and promoting world food trade. It is supposed to do so by adopting voluntary guidelines and standards (defining foods in international trade) and its decisions are enforced through the World Trade Organization (WTO) which considers its guidelines and standards as presumptive evidence in WTO trade disputes. It has become a creature of the Bigs – Big Govt, Big Agra, Big Pharma… etc.

In order to understand what Codex Alimentarius is, one needs to know it has nothing to do with consumer protection as its charter says. Such statement is just a catchy phrase to have the people and the nations approve its implementation. “Codex Alimentarius” means “food rules” in Latin. The plan was born in 1962 when the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC) was founded by the U.N. to supposedly facilitate trade relations. In reality, it was created to regulate and control the way in which food and nutrition are guided and how products are sold to people. It is indeed all about the profits of multi-national corporations. The relation is very simple: the more natural products people use, the less profits the pharmaceutical corporations make. Codex Alimentarius was created to protect Big Pharma´s profits through the elimination of natural health products and treatments. What is more alarming at this point is that Codex was approved on December 31st, 2009. After this plan was signed, it was mandated on all member countries through its approval by Congresses around the world; a lot like the Copenhagen Treaty.

Superbugs within Big Corp

Superbugs are bacteria that developed an ability to fight antibiotics. Examples of superbugs first appeared in Europe in the 60’s and since then they spread freely around the world. In the United States, deaths from the MRSA superbug infections reached 17,000 in 2005. A survey conducted in 2007 found that ST398, a new version of MRSA, was present in 39% of pigs and 81% of local piggeries in the Netherlands. Further research has found that MRSA is in at least two thirds of the farms located in E.U. member countries. In studies conducted around Europe, researchers found that Spain and Germany were two of the countries with the highest incidence of MRSA in their farms; with over 40% of pigs testing positive for MRSA. That is why it does not come as a surprise that the Europeans send most of their pork meat overseas. According to the University of Guelph, a study of pigs in Ontario, Canada, showed that ST398 was present in a quarter of local pigs, and one-fifth of the pig farmers that were tested.

A Superbug’s ability to resist antibiotics, as it happens with humans, occurs due to the heavy use of this product in animals. According to the Union for Concerned Scientists, livestock in the United States consume about 80 percent of the antibiotics that are sold in that country. Meanwhile, in China the number ascends to 50 percent of the animals. A report from February 2011 on the Sydney Morning Herald reveals that in Germany, livestock are given three times more antibiotics than the amount humans consume. The existence and spread of antibiotic resistant bacteria in the so called factory farms is the main cause of food poisoning cases, which are spurred by the use of antibiotics that are fed to animals.

The Walmartization of Food

If Monsanto, ConAgra, Cargill and other bio-tech giants are known for their desire to conquer the seed and food market, Walmart may be seen as their equivalent when it comes to the supermarket fad. Food that is delivered to most places today goes directly through and depends on the connections made by big chain supermarkets. Long gone are the days when the producer himself went out to sell his apples, bananas, pineapples or carrots. Today, transnational companies like Walmart and Carrefour control the supply of food to most areas of the planet. This corporations not only transport and distribute the food we eat, but also decide what is produced and what is not, where the products go, when they are shipped and what prices they will have when you grab them from your local supermarket shelf. Large supermarket chains indeed control global food markets.

Walmart’s annual sales reach $405 billion, which is more than the gross domestic product of nations like Argentina, Norway, Greece and Denmark. The corporate success that this number represents has prompted more supermarket chains to put their eyes in regions of the world they can exploit either as a production spot, usually by monopolizing the production and distribution of food, or by securing the purchase of food that is produced cheaply and under their own guidelines. Big retailers like Tesco, Walmart, Carrefour and Lotte are currently acquiring or negotiating their operations in India, China, Brazil and Indonesia. These and other third world nations that still rely on the traditional door to door, street fair sale of food staples, co-ops and local or regional wholesalers for the nutrition of their population. What the big chain supermarkets want to do is go in and cheaply buy their way into those markets by signing contracts with producers, distributors and local supermarkets so they can control the food production and distribution. Once they manage to absorb the markets, Big Corp chains impose their own models and establish the same standards and rules they mandated everywhere else. The direct and immediate consequence of this practice is the start of a new line of dependent consumers who will no longer be able to plant, pick or sell their food. Dependence is the name of the game.

As if one hungry supermarket chain wasn’t bad enough for the consumer, these large corporations also work as a cartel. They meet and define what the standards for the industry will be so that they continue to be what they are and continue to control it all. As Barry Harper puts it in his book “Breaking the chain: the antitrust case against Wal-Mart”, the power and size of the corporations are two of the many weapons they have to influence the global food system. Imagine what they can accomplish when working together against a country, a local supermarket in a third world nation or a small farmer. These companies simply have the power and ability to tell suppliers, farmers and food processors what the rules of the game are going to be. The power that food corporations have is so significant that governments are capable of putting their profit making scheme first, and the health of the people second, when it comes to food safety. An example of this is the ban the United States imposed on Mexican cantaloupes due to contamination with Salmonella in 2002. After a round of negotiations between the governments of both countries, which of course counted with the participation of Big Corp, the ban was lifted after a new “program” attached to a new bureaucracy was created. The creation of this new set of rules did nothing to guarantee the safety of the cantaloupes, because the farmers did not provide toilet facilities or water analyses as the new program requested. In fact 94 percent of the farms did not have portable toilets and 88 percent of them used water from rivers to supply their plantations.

Doing away with the local farmer

The agro-colonization of the world by a handful of corporations seems to have the same common denominator everywhere: the disappearance of the farmer. Supermarket giants have many ways to force themselves into new markets, or to increase their share of those markets. The invasion of Big Corp supermarkets in the southern hemisphere converted developing countries in sources of food for the rest of the world and in many cases made those very same regions dependent on big chain supermarket’s capacity and willingness to supply food to them. Because large supermarket chains have the prerogative to decide how much they pay for the food they buy, the standards producers must follow, the delivery timetables, the distribution procedures and so on, it is easy for them to manipulate local, regional and national markets. But when they don’t get their way, supermarkets are capable of importing fruit and vegetables from across the planet in order to drive small or mid-size competitors off the market. Many times, large supermarket chains use false advertising in order to maintain or increase the flow of customers to their shops. For example, when Walmart invaded Central America by purchasing local food chains, the company decided to maintain their original names due to the fact Walmart was already known in those places for its bad reputation abroad.

What this kind of falsehood allows is to keep controlling the demand and supply of food using different names. This practice gives large chains enough time to settle down and absorb more customers until they decide to reveal themselves. But controlling food markets is not only about window dressing. Large supermarket chains don’t even have to establish themselves in a country in order to control the food supply. So called partnerships with producers and distributors can be established from abroad so the food business is monopolized from within. A whole city or country may experience lack of rice or beans, for example, not because they aren’t available, but because they are stored in large supermarket bodegas where they await to be shipped overseas to whomever pays the price the supermarkets want. How does this practice affect farmers? Although the price farmers receive for their grains, fruit or vegetables may be considered fair at some point, in many cases those same farmers could have obtained better yields if they had sold them to local buyers instead of selling to the large supermarkets. The artificial scarcity that food corporations cause by storing food until someone decides to pay what they want is what causes price speculation, which in turn makes it more difficult for more people to feed themselves and their families. In addition, some farmers are held hostage to promises of future purchases while they wait to receive payment for current or older sales to the big chain supermarkets.

In many countries of Asia and Latin America, farmers do not have the cash to start a new planting season because the payment they received does not meet the new costs; and if it does, there is little money left as profit. When the large supermarket chains are not the ones exploiting local farmers, the local supermarket chains take on that role. The tough competition national or regional chains get when fighting against transnational corporations for a share of the market, turns local, regional and national supermarkets into the predators. Competition is such that the national companies that were business partners in the past, suddenly adopt Big Corp’s model and transform the farmers in a group of agro-colonized workers. This is the case with ShopRite of South Africa and DMA in Brazil.

In China, where supermarkets are expanding at a furious pace, these trends are biting hard. The major supermarket chains, both foreign and domestic, are working hand-in-glove with suppliers and local governments to develop farms to supply fruit and vegetables. As part of a drive to improve food safety and integrate its 700 million small-scale farmers into “high value food chains” with “scientific methods of farming”, the Chinese government has been pursuing the establishment of fruit- and vegetable-growing bases in partnership with the private sector. In each of these designated production zones, local authorities negotiate deals with private companies whereby the company comes in, leases an area of land from the farmers currently occupying it, or acquires their land use rights, and then sets up large-scale production, hiring the displaced farmers as labourers or in contract production arrangements.- Food Safety Briefing

We don’t have to eat the way Big Corp says

The movement to firmly reject the current food safety policies and the corporate business model that is imposed on consumers is a reason for hope. United States produced meat is not accepted by people in Taiwan, Australia, Japan or South Korea. The melamine intoxication in China woke up thousands of others in that country and millions outside the chinese land to reject melamine contaminated milk. In all of Latin America, Europe and some parts of the United States there are growing loud voices that question the current industrial system used to produce, distribute and sell food. The cases of food poisoning with Salmonella, mad cow disease, superbugs and genetically modified organisms spurred the creation and growth of grassroots groups that are becoming the guardians of food safety and that call for better agricultural practices that replace the current agro-colonial policies created by Big Corp and enabled by corrupt governments and international organizations. In Korea, the people’s resistance towards U.S. Beef resulted in massive questioning of their supposed representative democracy. In Oceania, Australians campaign to regain control of their food system as more people find out more and more consumers share their desire to manage their lifestyle, which of course includes their food supply. As for GMO, the number of citizen groups around the world are as numerous and diverse as the cultures they represent.

One, however, seems to be the common goal of most of these groups: overcoming the social, economic, health and environmental challenges that the industrial food system model has brought upon the populations. More co-ops of organic, locally grown food are appearing even in developed countries, where Big Corp has a strong handle on the food market. Local groups continue to organize campaigns to expose the dangers of genetically modified organisms, industrially produced pork, beef and turkey. Supermarkets that adopt a more environmentally friendly approach to agriculture, farms and farmers are attracting more customers. But perhaps more important than all of this is the fact that more people now understand that food independence is one of the main goals anyone should pursue. New educational campaigns are launched explaining the concept of food sovereignty and the right of the people to healthy food. One of the keys to food independence and safe environmental practices is to avoid agricultural models that promote the plantation and commercialization of one single crop, such as soy, corn, sugar and others. Food diversity in naturally fertilized soils is what proves to be the most effective model to guarantee that there will be food available for anyone who needs it. The creation and promotion of local associations or cooperatives that employ local workers for the cultivation and harvest of locally grown fruits, vegetables and meat continue to yield the best results for people around the world. Local food production is the only way to guarantee safety, fair prices and food availability that has the potential to end with hunger anywhere and everywhere.

Big Pharma Pills will have Nano devices to track patients

Natural News

The emerging field of nanotechnology is currently gaining a lot of attention across many industries. Nanotechnology allows scientists to manipulate individual atoms and molecules to create unique materials and even micro-scale devices, and this is leading to a wide range of applications in clothing, textiles, electronics and even food and medicine.

Sounds great, right? Except for the fact that, like genetic modification of food crops, nanotechnology tampers with Mother Nature in a way that’s largely untested for safety. And here’s something really bizarre: The pharmaceutical industry may soon begin using nanotechnology to encode drug tablets and capsules with brand and tracking data that you swallow as part of the pill.

To really explain how this works, let me simplify how nanotechnology works so you’ll see why this is so bizarre (and potentially dangerous). Instead of using materials and elements as they’re found in nature to build and construct things, nanotechnologists are deconstructing the basic building blocks of these materials and elements to make completely new ones. In other words, nanoscientists are reconstructing the molecular building blocks of our world without yet knowing what it will do to humans and to the environment.

The long-term consequences of nanotechnology are still largely unknown because not a single formidable study has ever been conducted on this emerging science that proves it to be safe. In fact, most of the studies that have been conducted on nanotechnology show that it’s actually detrimental to health and to the environment (which I’ll cover further, below).

But that hasn’t stopped Big Pharma from potentially adopting it for use in a new tracking and identification system that could be integrated into the very drug pills and capsules that millions of people swallow every day.

By the way, I’ve also posted a video explaining all this. Check it out here: http://naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=93626…

Nano-encrypted bar code in every dose

Now don’t get me wrong. Big Pharma isn’t the only industry using nanotechnology despite a complete lack of safety evidence. “Nanoparticles” are present in sunscreens, fabric protectors, plastic food liners, and other products. But what’s different about the nanoparticles soon to be found in a pill near you is that they are capable of storing data about where the drug was made, when it was made, and where it has traveled.

It’s a lot like the bar codes used on parcels to track them along their shipping journeys, except that in the drugs, it’s a molecular bar code that people will be swallowing. During digestion of the pill, the nano data bits will be distributed throughout your body and can become lodged in your body’s tissues.

A company that’s introducing this system for pharmaceuticals, says it this way on its website:

“In the NanoEncryption process, NanoCodes are incorporated directly onto tablets, capsules and vial caps. These codes may be associated with an unlimited amount of manufacturer-determined data, including product information (strength and expiration date), manufacturing information (location date, batch and lot number) and distribution information (country, distributor, wholesaler and chain).”

So if you take these drugs, you’ll be swallowing nano “hard drives” that can store data — data that will be distributed throughout your body and can be read by medical technicians who could then track what drugs you took in the past. And what’s the rationale for this? According to the company, it’s to “defen[d] against pharmaceutical counterfeiting and illegal diversion”.

It sounds like a good idea, right? Unfortunately, there’s a whole lot more to this technology than meets the eye.

Editor’s Note: UPDATE 1 — The company originally mentioned in this story now denies what NaturalNews reported. Their own website text as quoted in this story, was apparently misleading, and they now claim they do not use nano “material” of any kind to achieve their nano encoding. We are temporarily removing the name of this company from this story while we attempts to sort out the truth of the matter. In the past, we’ve had many company rush to change their own website text after we ran a story on them. All quotes published in this story were 100% accurate at the time of publication, and we made a good faith attempt to report this story accurately.
